"Known for her work with the Niuean artform Hiapo and her current use of
whenua pigments, Cora-Allan has combined fabrics and tivaevae from her
late Nanas collection as an intimate gesture of grief and longing. Their
relationship was closely linked to their love of arts, crafts, and Niuean culture
which provided many opportunities and conversations over Cora-Allan's
lifetime for her grandparents to pass down their knowledge."
